HAPPINESS AND JOY
I was thinking about joy, and the reality of what it is. It is a state of happiness; a moment of bliss in a world so full of pain. Happiness is not to be found in another, but it is to be found within oneself. Happiness is a man's desire to be happily fulfilled, because it is what he wants; what his spirit wants – his true nature. It is the reason we live, and have existence, and out of it comes our sharing and loving. You see when found in the deserts of our lives. In those dry and destitute places we find ourselves in, happiness becomes an oasis. A place of rest and restoration, and clarity of mind, body, and soul. A place of contentment with the choices you have made and the life you live. With the woman you love and the man you adore, with the children you have borne, and the job you work, with the friends you have, and with the time you take to share with them. Happiness is found in the will to be happy. It is a choice one must make.
